- A biotech company in the U.S. has been granted ethical permission by an Institutional Review Board in the U.S. and India to use 20 brain-dead patients for what is sure to be a highly controversial study: From next year, they plan to stimulate their nervous systems in order to restart the brains. Bioquark is hoping that its part in the groundbreaking ReAnimaproject will reveal if people can at least partly be brought back from the dead.

- Two heroes have been unveiled,
- Chromie, the Bronze dragon players have been interacting with in WoW for years. She is a ranged assassin , capable of launching devastating spells from a safe distance. Chromie will be joining the Nexus during the week of May 17
- Medivh, a specialist, is a new kind of support hero, offering his team unequal mobility, and the ability to transform into a crow and fly anywhere on the map unscathed. Medivh will be joining the Nexus during the week of June 14.

- Similar to Starcraft 2, consists of different ranked leagues ranging from bronze all the way up to grandmaster! To improve gameplay, blizzard has implemented 2 drastic changes. Players may only group with other players within one league bracket of one another, and SIlenced players can no longer play within ranked play.
